If that was the garden I ended up with after paying £825k, I’d be pretty pissed off.

This was a large semi plot by the looks of it, that some crook has jammed 3, 3 story houses on, with terrible room layouts.
Terrible!

But it is v close to a prestige car dealer that always has some lovely things on the lot, so there is that.

The prices for each of the three plots are:
895k (sold)
850k (sold)
825k
https://cassidyandtate.co.uk/folly-fields/
So, that's 2.57million for a single house plot. What, maybe £1.5m profit?

In a similar vein, and a very similar area, I give you £4m asking price for this "executive home" on a pretty busy road out of town:

Jesus. The bathrooms are not even decent. Round here that would be £300k.
I appreciate "south tax" but ffs. Also I have *never* seen new builds attached to an old semi.
These have been going up for the last 3 years round here - the left house is attached to the Victorian/edwardian house next door, bizarrely. https://rah.co.uk/property/trumpington-road-cambri...I appreciate "south tax" but ffs. Also I have *never* seen new builds attached to an old semi.

There are considerably better roads to choose, with more spacious properties available for the same budget in the area. I just don’t see the value at £800k ish.
