Circa 12p on tracker (central south coast), so got the laundry on, dehydrator on and baking banana bread.

It's been a while since a decent price drop on tracker so taking full advantage. Hopefully this windy period will keep the prices low for a while.

We’ve been negative on Agile since 9:30am and it’s right through till 4pm. The car is already at 100% and I’m currently running a couple of towels through the washing machine at 90° to give it a bit of a clean out after the endless 30° washes it usually does.

I'm tempted to stick the 3kw fan heater in the garden!

I've put the underfloor heating on in my kitchen with the door open.

Not a bad idea, however the negative rates are just by a penny or two, so even with the car charger at full chat it’s a max of 14p an hour coming off the bill. Still very nice to have essentially free motoring of course.

It's a strange one for me today. Lots of negative Agile prices but I've also just had an email advising of a Power up between 3 and 4 today which will give me free electricity.
The Power-Ups still seem to be a pretty manual process and apply irrespective of the tariff you are on, and I doubt they wanted to introduce a special process for times like this to filter out sending it to the Agile customers.

I have 16 tonnes of top soil occupying my drive so cannot charge my car for now.

Should be able to top up to 100% or thereabouts between 6-12 I think

I've had confirmation on twitter that where plunge pricing and power ups are at the same time, the plunge pricing will apply. Glad that is the case but largely useless since my car has now reached 100%. I imagine it won't be particularly unusual to have both together as they fulfil the same purpose
