I'm on the standard Flexible Tarriff for my Electric and Gas.
I have recently gone onto the Outgoing Fixed 15p/kWh tariff for my solar export. My recent bill does not show any export figures, does anyone know how this is credited? I'd expect to see the export figures on the bill.?
It's my first bill since getting solar and smart meters fitted.

Thanks, will wait for the next bill. The export is showing ok on the app, so hopefully they are getting the figures.
If you can see the data on your octopus account then they are getting the data OK so it will eventually end up on your bill.There will be a slight difference between their figures and the inverter figure but its a very small difference.

Why do utility companies find billing so tricky?
I joined Octopus on the 26th July, then changed to Agile on 27th.
New smart meter, the agreed meter reading on the 26th was 167.
My first Octopus bill was for the 26th July to 16th Aug and had
Customer reimbursement 16th Aug. 2024 + £1.38 <<< Not sure what this is, Aug 15th was the first free electricity day - that they said I saved 2p on
Electricity 26th July 2024 - 26th July 2024 + £10.49
The readings were:
26th Jul 2024 231.4 Opening reading
27th Jul 2024 182.1 Smart meter reading
The 182 is probably broadly correct, not sure where 231 comes from, but this means they`ve refunded me for 49KWh at the flexible rate.
Not going to question it for the moment as it benefits me, be interesting to see the starting point for the next bill though...

I find that waiting until an actual bill appears rather than looking at the balance history screen is a better option as all sorts of fun stuff happens on the balance history page that bears little resemblance to the actual bill.
The Kraken system is sold to companies all around the world so I guess they must hide a lot of the stuff that Octopus customers see as for something that is meant to be so 'amazing' it causes a lot of grief.

I've been trying to get my Solar FIT Deemed Export changed to be an export tariff with Octopus for months. Emails go unanswered and calls promise updates which never materialise. It's somewhat frustrating as this is not a process for them which is unknown, so I have no idea where the bottleneck is.
More generally, everything else seems to work well, and I like the product (Agile tariff).
