If you like the sound of crashing waves and don't mind living in Sydney, Australia: https://www.sothebysrealty.com/eng/sales/detail/18...
nice but (at what one might expect to be a VERY healthy budget) I'd really want my neighbourhood a little more spaced out from each other....Shnozz said:

It's a bit near the road, but I could be happy here just for the outdoor cooking/eating area.

As nice as that looks, you'd have to be really into the outside thing to justify that area. Surely, bifolding doors all round would have the same effect but giving you a watertight, usable space?![](https://media.rightmove.co.uk/72k/71774/120501416/71774_WIN220063_IMG_16_0000.jpeg)

Although I can only assume you are a migrant, as no one who hails from Tyneside owns a coat, let alone would suggest sitting under a roof, with a fire pit, could constitute unusable

In fairness, we've spent the weekend driving the convertible around with the top down.
There was a frost this morning

It looks like just some stairs which lead somewhere at some point in time. Where's the access to the "wine cellar"? It's not in the plans...
It'll most likely be a spiral - something like this:https://www.spiralcellars.co.uk/?gclid=Cj0KCQiA95a...
They don't need a lot of space & are pretty easy to install if there's a big underfloor gap, or cellar. Essentially it's a big circular hole, lined with boxes & a spiral stair down the centre. Accessed through a hatch - sometimes glass for maximum visitor impact in the kitchen/diner/hallway.
They're not uncommon, esp in London. Happened to be in Matthew Jukes house as he was having one installed & it looked fantastic.

In it's way, that's absolutely bloody brilliant. Unexpected Item In The Bagging Area said:
That's properly awesome, imo!And pretty well done too, I reckon.

They’ve been trying to offload this overpriced place for a quite while. The stonework is in poor condition so expect to spend quite a bit repairing it, and I bet the roof isn’t much better. Lot of money to live in a claustrophobic box.
Just need to find a builder to quote by square metre, it'll cost nothing ![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)
This is rather nice, though a bit too close to Catterick

I used to live in Easby. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/120679640?u...
The only problem with St Trinians is that it isn't really in Easby, it's outside the village right on the main road into Richmond. It's a nice house, but I couldn't live there.

Also, looking closer, it looks like the intention is to use it as an airbnb type place, going by what looks like a key holder on the door,
