It says they make interesting pets..!!
I'm sure a bengal tiger high on PCP would make for an 'interesting' pet or maybe a pack of rabid wolves. I know, scatter a few hornet nests around the house and keep a jar of redbacks in the fridge! That'd qualify as 'interesting'!

Apart from the fact they are in a tank and can't really survive out of water attacks u numpty
rofl

do you *really* want to be the first to test that theory?
Id take my chances unless the man fitting the lasers added some wheels aswell.

Not a great fish to be honest, don't swim around too much, spook quite easily and as mentioned, will generally pick at each other - ie, eyes and so on. There's plenty of more interesting fish you can keep than Piranah.
Any suggestions then..

Depends what you're after buddy, if you want loads of active fish, as someone mentioned, Rift Valley Cichlids are good, you have to have plenty of them to dilute the aggression and they're brightly coloured, discus are brightly coloured if not a bit boring. Marine fishkeeping is now becoming increasingly easier and increasingly cheaper if you want a small bright tank.

Don't be discouraged - they are not very active, but they do tend to lurk with intent and look cool. They do have reasonable personality.

I think any fish with interesting behaviour is going to be aggressive - all of the chilled out fish are really boring - well all that I have seen anyway.

Another option is to concentrate on the tank, rather than the fish - get a beautifully setup tank, great plants and wood, then just get a couple of goldfish - sometimes the tank is more fun than the fish.

They can jump - I saw it in this film once so it must be true

knew some guy who kept piranha, used to feed them goldfish, him and his friends would take bets on how long they would last for... then he left the tank open and went to the pub.

Seems his g/f kitten went for a look and fell in, made a right mess of the filter, was given the choice of the fish or the g/f.

Fish lost and went to explore the sewers via the toilet smile
