While he does have a house in Upper Basildon (about 10 miles west of Reading), I would have thought he had more than one biggrin

He can afford more than one gaff me thinks......
However, if its not his then there is more than one person who thinks parking a willy extension in the front room is a good idea.....hehe

Vendor to Savilles "What unique marketing strategy do you have to sell my house for top dollar in these challenging times"

Savilles "Well sir for £26,250 +VAT we're going to play on the fact that you've done the gaff up to a high standard".

Vendors to Savilles "Sounds like a winner."

I like the idea of having the car on show, I'd do this if I was building my house and had some nice cars, but it would have to be totally clean and clutter-free.

Its horrid - Dont like it at all. Much prefer a "proper" working garage, tools all over the walls, oil stains on the floor, bits of knackered car cluttering the place and plenty of tat you should really throw out hanging from the ceiling joists...

Now imagine that, through a glass wall (also oil stained!) from your lounge....

Yes Im sure its all very arty but thats exactly why I don't like that house, much prefer something cosy with character.

Each to their own I suppose...

Nice house, but its a nicely done up terrace for £1.75m which is frankly a little mental.
why the big picture windows - looks like your 'on show' all the time. I suppose the bathroom has glass walls too ? totally mad silly

that'd be expensive when your son throws a cricket ball and it goes through the window

Not forgetting the "stars" in the glass caused when you got hacked off with something and threw a hammerhehe

It's a bit sterile IMO.

Did anyone else see the episode of 'come dine with me' with the loser with the Yellow Ferrari and the home knitted Ferrari jumpers???

He had the internal door to the garage fully opened and all the internal garage lights on just in case his guests missed it.

What a Trumpet!

This house has been done up to a very high specification
"done up" FFS? are these people really at an equal stage of literacy as a six year old? it shows that during the boom they could rely on piss poor marketing skills and watch the money roll in but when now market is slow they have no marketing skills whatsoever...
