The ones with the round key can be opened in 30secs though so that’s a bit crap on a 500 quid or whatever post

Thanks for all the advice and comments.

Will definitely go with hydraulic assist and give the round keys a miss.

I appreciate the cars are insured, but I think deterrents make 90% of potential thieves move onto the next car.

Bollards and a Disklok are as far as I’m going to go.

I usually diy things like this but the installed cost on these isn’t bad at all.

I really feel for whoever was driving the RS6 when the auto bollard come up.

That’s what you call a bad day.

Every bollard I’ve had quotes for has this type of lock.

What is the problem with them?

You can open them with a pen lid. The soft plastic cylindrical pen lid pushes the pins into their open position and the lock opens
