There's a couple in Lakes by Yoo, in the private site with all the other celebrities like Kate Moss and Elle Macpherson,

£4.5m doesn't seem to get you much

One would have to go to £5m for the lakesde view and rooftop pool

Only (or one of depending on your perspective) problem is that these are 2nd homes only, you can't live there all year. The 5 mill one says it in the listing but not the others as far as I can see but I doubt they differ.

That's pretty good value for money.

The interior is a bit bland but I'd imagine that's a deliberate move for the sale, certainly nothing a couple of weekends with some paint couldn't cure.

It's not too bad an area. However the price is a little suppressed around there due to it being classed as Grantham. Move it a couple of miles and into the Vale of Belvoir and you could add 20% easily. Location location location...

There’s a lot of detail in that, some great features, but possibly the smallest family bathroom I’ve ever seen on house details, and you can see the neighbours in some shots.

Seems like a lot of money for Lincolnshire, but as a would be resident, that’s good news.

A lovely thing. What it needs is that Dick & Angle to restore it. Said nobody.

If that's done gently, as it were, it will be fantastic.

Fabulous place. It’ll take a lot of dedication, vision and dosh (and essential to avoid going down the Dick and Angel bodge route laugh)

Stunning building, would be fantastic if it was sympathetically restored.

Or even a property restomod?!

Just to re-enforce the Lincolnshire value statement, see this;

https://www.brown-co.com/services/residential/prop...

Under £600k for >5000 sq ft of elegance (albeit a semi-detached). Also has cooling towers on the skyline. Could be worse...

Spot on. This is pretty much my ultimate dream property. If the roof, plumbing, drainage and electrics are in good enough nick for the next 20 years or so, I'd do nothing but decorate that in slow time. Absolutely no need to for major work at all.

Friday bargain pawn for me.

Suspect this will get panned, but I'm biased because I love the location.

Price is a bit optimistic, but Oban has been an epicentre of stupid prices of late so perhaps it's me out of touch.

When 2 bed ex-council cottage flats are going for over 200k in Oban, the price of this place seems reasonable!

I agree though, prices in Oban have been daft over the past few years. Pre-pandemic prices were a LOT more sensible iirc.

It’s a yes from me. Nice setting and surroundings, and a lovely part of the world. Injection of some nice interior colour and it'd be great.

Posters sometimes mention that they like small houses with lots of land, but how about a tiny one with its own fishing lake?
