That'll find a buyer at the money in Stanmore, I'd have thought. 5+ acres with it.

Like the previous footballer mcmansion, this ticks so many boxes but is devoid of personaility and leaves me cold.

Add personality with furnishings and art, etc. For a new build it’s pretty amazing.

Not my bag, but that's very sympathetically done for a new build.

I'm not sure you could reasonably call that place average, much less "distinctly" so.

I *really* like that.

A million quid though?
Direct slow train to Liverpool St.
FTFY (and it's not even close to the station) - it's well decorated but I wouldn't buy it
10 min walk / 5 min drive to the station? Half hour by train to London?
given that the station is (meant to be) 1.9 miles away it would be more than a 10 minute walk, the train itself is an all stations stopper which takes about 40 minutes. Ok if you can get a parking spot at Shenfield it's 18/20 minutes to Liverpool St (which is likely why I feel that 40 is 'slow')

It's half a mile from Brentwood station, and Shenfield is further away from London. If you livdd on Woodman Road, the only reason you'd get the train from Shefield is that you'd have more chance of getting a seat.

Really, really like that. Another few years for cost centre 2 to finish uni and decide if she's buggering off or coming back home - if the former, then something like that is definitely on the radar for mortgage free living and enjoying life.

I know the house - it’s local to me - it’s nicely tucked away and I’d always thought it looked lovely from the front had no idea it had a garden that size.

It’s also at the wrong end of Stanmore for that price.
Very nice though.

Presumably that's what the owner and the agent think too.

Many don't Mr Doof - in fact one sees kites with prices on being flown for years by some vendors and agents wink

I could have my own private disc golf course in that back garden.

Well, it's the beginning of the month, so time to see what Omaze are offering:

I rather like that one. I'm a massive fan of the internal courtyard-slash-lightwell. Very Japanese.

I know Shenfield is one stop upstream from Brentwood - it also provides a non-stopping service to Liverpool St and/or Stratford (depending on what's needed)
