I think I like it, but I also think that is one of those places you'd really need to see in person.
Grand Designs, has been up for a while - assuming I recognise it as the Japanese-inspired one build amongst Roman Ruins. It's a bit reminiscent of some FLW in its bespoke fittings, I recall?
I remember that one… beautifully crafted for one client couple. As such massively limiting its appeal. Mind boggling valuation.

...and what I mean by seeing it in person is that generally I can look at photos of a place and instinctively tell whether or I like it.

With this place, the photos give me an impression of too much wood going on and yet, I suspect it might feel different when you're actually inside.

I'd need some more protection on the Gin Staircase.

Bit open on one side.

Not as grand as many in the thread, and in need of a bit of internal modernisation, this would do us just fine. Not too remote and in a lovely area

I like that. TBF i wouldn't touch it and see what bills rolled in uninvited. It is pretty remote and wild up there. Also next to a working farm. Even if you're OK with the noise and smells, the wrong sort of farmer could make life misery.

Agree. Lovely. G2 list rules it out for my dream pad though!

(better resolution photos on EA's site compared to Rightmove's)

Direct slow train to Liverpool St.
FTFY (and it's not even close to the station) - it's well decorated but I wouldn't buy it

I much prefer the wooden house to the footballers mansion because a lot more thought and care has gone into the design.

On paper the mansion should be amazing but whilst it ticks a lot of boxes it just leaves me cold.

I lived on Woodman Road 30 years ago. It's half a mile to the station, and the train was, indeed, around 30 minutes to Liverpool St.
