Yes it is. But I won’t name him because it makes me feel a bit uneasy when personal stuff and PH overlap too much.
Yep, I wasn’t even sure I should mention it but I guess it’s harmless to.

I was under the impression he moved as well. I am not sure we are violating any confidence here by putting up his thread.

Bit close for comfort to a main river.. but i like this. Quirky, and I like that.

The staircase alone on this one is worth a nod in this thread.

Kidding right? It's absolutely awful. No redeeming features at all.

If you’d ever met Phooey it would make sense. Lovely chap, for whom I’ve a great deal of time. But Google “Nottingham man sued for putting stone pillars on council house”.

It really does seem a lot of house for the money

I think his business, Intelligent Money, went into administration so I guess he's forced to sell up - lovely property!

Ok, I'm cheating a bit again, as it's not for sale, I don't think, and it's a very public building, so no worries about the photo.

So anyway, I absolutely love this building. Passed it this morning and thought I'd post it here.

If I could uplift this, clean it up and plonk it down somewhere on the coast, I'd be made.

Looks like only part of it, the IM private clients business seems to be unaffected.

Let's not help the pitchfork wranglers, lads. He's getting plenty of focus elsewhere, he doesn't need it here as well.

He put the house on the market a couple of years ago, when he moved abroad. All that's happened is it's been reduced recently.

Do you know what the original asking price was?

If you’re going to do mock Georgian, at least do it right (unlike this horror)

£1.7M

I don't know the area but looks an absolute bargain now, especially with the work that went into the pool - really surprised it's not sold!

This isn't pawn, but do people think the trains would be especially audible from this distance - before I bother to go view it:

I'd be less concerned over train noise, and more worried about a HIAB removing the Portacabin off the roof;
