7 photos and no floorplan; they're really pulling out all the stops aren't they?
Read the description.... sign a confidentiality agreement, prove you are good for 65m & they will give you more info.
It's been for sale since 2016 at the same price; more effort needed perhaps?

No need to spend £65m for that, there’s deer on lawns in our little road in Surrey - buggers keep eating the geraniums and tulips.

4,800sqm

What an impersonal way to live… it’s a hotel, not a house.
I would be better off as a 5 star golf and country club really, with 270 acres that would be doable, bit like the The Grove, the driveway entrance being just off the M3 would be a benefit then rather than off putting.

A wee castle recently came on. Quite pricey though compared to the other wee castle I posted on here a few weeks ago.

Only one bathroom, and it's on the top floor?

There's also a shower room on the second floor, so every floor has a toilet and the top two bedroom floors each have a bath or shower.

my first thought was £65 million, 21 bedrooms and 19 bathrooms but only 7 pictures!

Love that.
Very nice cloud9
No garage, not even a single and considering the rest of the property id expect a double or triple. I'm out.
It's got a double garage, it's in the photos and mentioned in the text.

This shot from the brochure.
I like this a lot.
As do I. In all honesty, there is little I'd change.
Just here to say the same. That’s wonderful.

Man, I really like that.

It's also relatively unique, in that it's not isolated as castles tend to be.

Also, for anyone who doesn't know the area, have a look at that road on street view - there's a LOT of very interesting properties, and almost all have tremendous sea views.

I like that a lot - but just can't get over the thought of Midge swarms - Maybe the islands are better?

Is no one seeing what I'm seeing? I would have to split the bathroom and redo it. I couldn't live with a family bathroom being the corridor to a bedroom!

TBF if you look at the rest of the layout it would appear that the family bathroom isn't really too much of an issue. Strikes me that B2 would be (likely) the only people use it anyway

"Well, what we are talking about in privy terms is the latest in front wall fresh air orifices combined with a wide capacity gutter installation below."

They're pretty different houses. And it's 300k cheaper which will buy a lot of upgrades.

And at the other end of the country a million buys you a country estate with 62 acres!

What is with all the dead birds hanging off the wall. Generally far too many dead things in there but those birds are just bizarre.
Suspect there will be a large gun safe somewhere!

Apologies if i've stuffed the quotes up above but I think I'd be moving that bath, walling the bathroom off and having a passageway past that window to bedroom 2.

Other than that, whooweee what a cosy looking place it is. Very nice.
