How about using the Cuban method where you can't buy/sell a house, but can only swap your house for another.

I thought along those lines for a while ....but savings are such a pitifully small sum in the scheme of things I think only debt needs to be cut.

Great how Reuters reports that: "The cost of the guarantee scheme will be borne by the government, not banks, the source said." FFS.

Certainly not. They already meddle in far too many things already.

The size and cost of government needs to be drastically reduced.

The confiscation starts in 201 with 45% tax. That will be the thin end of the wedge.
