Sending silver to China, ? legal

My wife has sold a small item of antique sterling silver on ebay.

Turns out the winning bidder is from mainland China.

When checking out shipping it comes up with various prohibited items including precious metals for shipping to China.

Does anyone have any experience of this and can advise?
