Just to make sure I haven't got the wrong idea (very possible) how long have **** included a forces pension as "earned" earnings to reduce tha amount you can earn before being liable for tax?

and how can this be used to reduce your wifes tax code to 248L?

WTF is going on?

Pensions of ALL kinds are taxable income. They are usually taxed under the PAYE system - therefore PAYE Tax Codings are often adjusted and split between pension income and salaries.
