Have been on hold to the > th^n renewals line for over 50 mins so far - fortunately the phone has a hands free option, but I still have to listen to it.
Why can't they just have a simple pay on-line renew option?
Or is there one and I just haven't worked out where the option is?

We use a D.D. monthly payment agreement which is ongoing and automatically renews. A quick check of a few other insurance quotes ensures we do not pay OTT.

After 61 mins and 17 seconds I got cut off furious
Went back to the on-line quote and thought I'd use their contact us button and tell them how poor they were for customer service - however the page had expired as well.

I think you've been unlucky, they've always answered the phone quickly when I called them in the past (for car insurance).

You're probably right. I called another number and was put through within a couple of minutes - the guy then said that the number I'd called and been put on hold for, was a web based one.
Since he just confirmed the renewal quote and took the payment, I can't see why the option to renew on-line isn't available.
