Where to get a credit check done on-line?

Any ideas on where I can get an up to date credit check done, which doesn't entail signing up for any monthly fee or period?

I done one with Experian and you didn't need to sign up for any free trial although it did cost a couple a quid and had access to my fime within a couple of mins. Gave me access to the report for 28 days.
