Credit files - Linked addresses?

I've just been looking at my credit report on equifax and have noticed that they've got a linked address from when I was at University (got put on the electoral roll there).

I moved from Parents -> Uni -> Parents -> Current place (I kept all bank accounts at parents until I moved into current property)

The question I can't seem to find a sensible answer for is: Do I need to put this linked address down on any credit applications, or as there were no bank accounts/cards registered there is it irrelevant?

They ask for addresses during last 3 years as a rule. If you lived there, you put them down.
