I used full isa allowance early this year to invest in a fund. I have since sold the fund in its entirity.
does this mean i have used my isa allowance for this year or can i use it again to buy shares with?

I think it means you've used it all.

if the proceeds from the sale of the fund stayed in your isa account then yes, you can reuse the money to buy more shares

if you sold the fund and withdrew the money from the isa account, you can't put in any more in the same tax year

you can buy the shares now and then transfer (by selling and buying them back for instance) them into an isa on 6 April

unless something really dramatic happens, the gain you make on them is likely to be covered by allowances
