What do people think about this new offering from Terry Smith? I was thinking about putting a little bit of wedge in.

I just started my own thread about this.

Looks fantastic to me. Sticking some in myself smile

(Note: By sticking stuff in, I mean drip feeding... no market timing permitted in long term investments imo...)

I am thinking about dipping my toe in the water but just wondered what everyone thought?

It has got to that stage where I don't have enought time to manage all my investments and having read all their spiel I think I will chuck some £££ their way. Their philosophy matches (I am also always a big fan of owners/managers having a lot of their own £££ tied up) the way I run some of my portfolio and I think it is worth it for the long term......

Exactly, it's basically the only thing that will work, long term, other than very short term stuff (which can't be done by a typical fund manager).

Received my pin through post... that's drawn my attention to the fact I have no login details, and no email from them which is allegedly supposed to contain em (that I can find) - and they shut down at 5pm!

All minor irritations (I'd rather pay less fees than have them open 24/7 in the limit I suppose) that will be sorted tomorrow, I assume... but just a datapoint. It is exceptionally unlikely that I typed my email incorrectly and even less likely there was a problem at my end, so me not having those details doesn't bode well for their system.

From my investor ID though, it seems I'm in the first thousand investors... early bird catches the worm smile

I got my e-mail 5 minutes after signing up plus the e-mailed prospectus so no problems there.

First thousand as well.

Nope. In fact it isn't sorted today, either. And apparently anyone who can deal with it is out of the office according to the guy I just spoke to...
