Just looking for some insurance and LV are looking decent on price, anyone with them care to share experience of how good or not they are?

Excellent on price and cover.

Have 4 vehicle policies with them - they replicated NCD and even apply a mult-vehicle discount.
Refused to insure my high value car due to cost of vehicle - never did understand this?
Even included business use for no extra charge (unless standard in their policy).
They even insure my motorcycles as the "so called bike experts" could not even compete.

Their telephone lines are always busy - my only real gripe.

Use UK based people and thus language is seldom an issue when I use a colloquialism.

Never had a claim, thus cannot speak for handling service.

I'm 43 and a motorcyclist until 2 yrs ago hence the NCD.

I've been with them for over twenty years and before they became LV as Frizzels. Quotations on a par with a load of others but their claim handling is second to none. I've been rear ended twice in the last few years and car's been in to repairers within a couple of days and back on the road within a week. Courtesy car on offer no problem, chose not to as I have wife's car to hand. You may never have to use insurers but after an accident you want as little hassle as posible. They are really good and even 'phone you back as promised......there are other insurers that are dire, I know I've used them. Not the cheapest but service is good and they'll give you two car discount if one or more vehicles insured. Recommended.
