Hi all smile

Just after a little collective PH viewpoint please!

Me and Mrs KB350 are currently paying Royal London around £100 per month for mortgage cover and CE cover. We're 33/34, no smokers, decent health backgrounds etc. We don't engage in skydiving or potholing and are generally therefore, (you would assume!) low risk.

Having just done a quick search on 'gocompare' it seems similar offers (not seen the T&C's) are around the £50 per month mark...

So, am I being realistic by thinking £100 per month is a bit much? And what providers are recommended by the PH community..?

Thanks all smile

Hi,
Im Darryl and drag race in Top Fuel, or did until the money expired!
Im also an IFA and have helped a number of guys/girls here with their life and critical illness cover while racing.
Included are lsr jet car drivers, top fuel bike racers(240mph plus and nuts) and various circuit racers.
All can be relatively easily done at normal costs, ie not any more expensive!
Im easily reached at dbradfordifa@yahoo.co.uk or on 07739 259916.
Please dont be shy smile

Cheers

Where are you based by the way?

The closet I got to motorport (or anything remotely dangerous) was a few 'Ring laps a few years back! We have a totally standard (read boring) requirement and I can't help but think we are paying over the odds...

Is there a particular company you'd recommend taking a look at..?

Hismile

Based in the south east but we cover everywhere.
I do it for a living so if you either want the cheapest cover or the most comprehensive i can do whatever you need.
Plus it takes the hassle out of you searching and we dont charge fees.
Just be wary of the online quote stuff, i mean from comparison sites, mainly because they strip out benefits to get the quotes as low as possible to get the business.
We can do that too if you like, but its not nessisarily the best way.
Again hope that helps and please email or call anytime you like!

I got a quote from one of those "go compare " sites... Be careful when switching provider as some companies will not allow you to claim for a set period of time from the start of the new policy, some are upto 180 days!!!!!!!
I use https://www.protection.uk.net/ They give you cover from day 1 if you can prove you have an existing policy that has NOT been claimed on in the last 12 months.

I pay £28 for £1000 level of cover for just myself accident sickness and redundancy!
