Aviva (AV.) would you let your granny invest in it?

I have a decent sized holding in AV. already and, on the back of today's update, I am not shy about getting some more - with a target of 600p in 24 months and some nice divis along the way

Question is, would I recommend it to my parents / grandparents as an income stock with potential for growth and little upside: as an alternative to cash in the bank for instance.....

I am about to do just that unless you lot talk me out of it
