I bought some shares about 15/16 years ago in an oil company (i believe on the London exhange) and don't think I've updated my address since I was at university. How would I go aout getting a replacement certificate or accessing them via an online platform. They were worth pennies when I bought them and the shares look like they would be worth significantly more now

The website suggests Capita Corporate Registrars Plc, Dublin.

Is it as easy as contacting them with any relevant information they may need? The shares were only worth about 500 pounds back then but may be worth a fair bit more

Dragon oil on the london exhcange - 400 pound punt in 1996/7. I remember a year or two later there being a share re-issue (don't ask me what it means I have a vague recollection of it) -something amounting to them swapping 3/4 for one ordinary share that I held

Would it still be as simple if I didn't have my (very) old address? It was fourteen years ago now.

I'll talk to them tomorrow and try to figure out where I stand, I don't usually deal in shares so this is all quite alien to me

thanks for your help smile
