I'm currently in a contract hire agreement (the company i own to be exact) i would like to change cars but there is a fairly hefty early termination charge - i asked about buying the car (so i could trade it in) but they want a silly amount of money for it - more than i could trade it in for.
i would have though that the fact that they could sell the car for so much would negate the need for me to pay anything to get out of teh agreement. if i were to pay teh remaining payments, that amounts to around 1/2 of what they want for it if i were to buy it off them.
has anyone any suggestions?
