Is this the best mortgage I can get?
Discussion
In the absence of any other information, can anyone give me a virtual hug and tell me I'll be alright?
It's a HSBC jobby....
lifetime (25 years) repayment tracker 1.69% above BoE base rate
£99 fee
no early repayment or overpayment charges
60% LTV (I'm in a fortunate position to put down 40% deposit, but I'll be potless)
From digging around I think it looks very competitive. I can stand a rise in base rate to 4% before the repayments match what I'm currently paying in rent, so I'm thinking (hoping!) that won't be for a while yet - hence the tracker not a fixed rate.
Ta!

It's the best that I've seen on the market - slightly ahead of the FD 1.79% with 65% LTV they were doing until recentlyIt's a HSBC jobby....
