Advent Training gone bust. Finance owed

Long story short, back in 2005 I applied for an MCSE course via Advent Training to be able to get some qualifications. I haven't as of yet done any of the modules (personal issues) nor have I had any other literature bar the welcome pack. The loan offered to me went through a company called Anglo Saxon Capital One (IIRC).

The problem I now have is due to wanting to complete it as my personal issues have been put aside, the company no longer exists. Is there any way of me claiming this money back? They were very eager to take my money but I have received no further support. I'm quite confused as to how I can get back all the money owed to me.

Any information would be great here chaps.

Wasn't this, or something very similar, discussed a couple of weeks ago on The One Show and finance/laons offered by Barclays Bank?

I can't recall what the outcome was, of if this may be a similar case?

Not sure about the discussion, but they definitely had a link with Barclays.

Feels a bit stty losing out on just short of £6k.
