Natwest to RBS Bank Transfer, how long does it take?

Hi,

I've bought a new car and we have agreed that a bank transfer will do as payment.

Is the transfer now instant? i.e can I transfer the money whilst we fill out the log book or does it still take a number of days?

Depends on the ammount.Under £10k and you can do it for free almost instantly as part of the faster payments system.Above that ammount then chaps is probably the best way but costs and can take a few hours to land in the sellers account.
