I'm also interested in this. At the minute my credit cards are building up airmiles which realistically I'm never going to build up enough to use!
Are they amex cards of visa ones?I need to find an visa card that does airmiles but there doesnt seem to be one
Get one Amex and one Mastercard, the Amex racks up more miles.
I've had an AMEX Blue card for about 10 years and it's not bad. The cashback isn't as generous as it once was (there's no longer any "special weekends" that offered 2% CB for example) but at the moment you get 1/2% on your first £1k approx and 1% after that, paid annually. If you're buying big cost items it's definately a good idea- my Dad for example uses his to buy his annual season ticket between Northampton & London. Of course being an AMEX it's not accepted everywhere so it's useful to keep another card as a reserve.
I used to have a Smile credit card that paid cashback monthly but that offer disappeared years ago- are there many left?

I had a look at that one, but I'd have to use the mastercard one of the two, and the airmiles on that were so ste it was unbelievable.Get one Amex and one Mastercard, the Amex racks up more miles.
I don't recall the figure but you got to fly about 100 yards for every million pounds you spent

I have a CapitalOne card that gave me 3% back for the first 3 months and then 1% thereafter, credited to the account in January. Used to offer free travel insurance as well but have just stopped that. No charge for this card either.
Also had the card number used by crims last year, great customer service ( call centre is in Nottingham ) and credited my account back in an hour.
