Yeah, it is probably the best. But then, I think it is the best overall paper anyway...

the internet is best.

you can read the FT today if you want, but since last night the whole market has changed so you can be reading yesterdays news today with the FT or get online and read real time news.
Can you point me in the direction of your favoured sites by any chance?

Yep the financial times is indeed the authority on the facts and figures (however as mentioned above its yesterdays closing prices).

For the most up to date news check the bloomberg website/ tv channel.

The investors chronicle is also a good publication out every Friday and details whether certain shares are fairly priced and often runs articles telling you what to look out for as well as how to work that kind of thing out for yourself.

This service is excellent www.citywebwatch.com

No idea how much it is for an individual but you get access to the FT and all the other websites etc as part of the fee...or at least you used to.

I think the WSJ is better than the FT (it certainly seems to break more market leading stories) but it doesn't cover the UK as well for obvious reasons.

news.google.com works pretty well. It searches all sources and groups the information together as well as allowing you to set up specific company which then alerts you when there is news.

Direct link to the business section below:
