Can anyone please tell em if there is a Tax advisers body or association I could talk to ?

I have received poor and expensive treatment from a Tax advice company and woudl like to a) make a complaint and b) let others know to steer clear of them.

Many thanks

If the advice has led to some sort of financial loss for you then you are well within your rights to pursue the adviser for the loss. They should have PI in place for such things.

I am a Tax Adviser (ATT) and can assure you that complaints to the Chartered Institute of Tax (assuming the adviser is ATT or CTA qualified) are taken very seriously.

As advised, you need to first find out which (if any!) professional body they are a member of and then make an official complaint to that body if they have been negligent and you have suffered financial loss.
