Is it worth paying it off entirely these days?

Or are there some credit breaks for paying most of it off and leaving a few £k for credit rating?

I don't usually do credit, but you never know when you may need it?

I paid mine off. It hasn't ruined my credit rating, as such, but it doesn't help - I'd suggest that if you do, you ensure you have a credit card which you use and pay off every month, just to ensure you have a history of taking out and paying off credit.
