2k short on car purchase

So if I want to buy a car for £18k and I have £16k what's the best way to finance the £2k gap for either trade purchase or private purchase?

I could take a credit card loan via an interest free card I suppose.

Or maybe work on the dealer loaning interest free to seal the deal.

I would aim to pay the £2k back in 6 - 12 months but don't want to wait that time to get the car.
