Temporary Company Car tax
Discussion
I've ordered a new CC, and for the interim until build/delivery I've been given a hire car. This hire car (I assume) will cost more on CC tax than the one I ordered.
What happens to CC tax? Do I get taxed on the thing that I ordered (as the view the hire car as temporary) or do I pay CC tax on that until mine arrives?
I don't know how long delivery of mine will take.

I presume you are talking about the Income Tax you will pay on the company car under the Benefit in Kind system.
You will be taxed on the company cars which have been made available to you during the relevant tax year.
If you have one particular car for a short period of time, say 61 days, then the tax charge on the car will be based on 61/365 of the annual charge.
