Credit History Problem
Discussion
A bit of and odd one this. Mrs Will has a perfectly good credit rating, lots of bills/phone contracts/bank accounts/etc in her name, no black marks, all pretty normal really.
However, when we went to switch her phone contract from O2 to Vodafone recently, she failed the credit check. Now we've done the obvious thing, signed up with credit expert and taken a look.
It seems that due to two house moves in about 14 months, the majority of her credit history is no longer being found when searching based on her name and address. All it is picking up is one gas and electricity bill. It's not even picking her up as being on the electoral role, despite us both being registered to vote (and doing so in the recent election).
Does anyone have any tips on how to get this all straightened out? Do we have to contact all of the various companies involved or is there a better way of doing it?
