with the oddness in markets over the pond compounding the (predictable?) hung parliament -

whats the view on where the FTSE will close this aft?

a rocky road ahead i fear....

HSBC dropped 5% on Hong Kong exchange earlier due to greece/other debt fears.

Think the market will be hit due to this and nly slightly due to results initially- depends on the uncertainty ie how long it takes for Labout to give up PM post and who sides with who- if not resolved well could get hammered.

I don't think the hung parliament will effect the FTSE, in my opinion it was priced in weeks ago. Will effect FX though

The bigger thing will be how the USA opens at 2.30. After yesterdays unbelievable events if the Dow was to open seriously lower expect the FTSE to move lower. So far its not looking too bad seems to be recovering a little.

Be suprised if it doesn't drop below 5k next week...

Far too much uncertainty now, even if the parties come to some agreement....
