shorting the euro might have legs, but im not sure about the ftse so much. might be a buying oppo on that soon imo.

My plan was to short it against the dollar on Monday morning but I had to go out.

I've been bearish EURUSD for the last 4 months.

Not my style to pick tops/bottoms. Much prefer to determine the trend and ride it. Bit like surfing.

Good observation Mr Shadow.
In which case perhaps the Euro trend has more to run. ftse might be better to wait out and catch the ride back up!?

Euro: I would wait for a rally and short that but be prepared for a change in direction ie use a stop.
FTSE: don't know. I don't trade it. You could be buying at the start of the double dip and be seeing a loss for months.
