I have bought shares in a company over a long period of time. Due to this and house moving I am not 100% sure I have all the certificates. Is there a way of checking the number of shares your holding?
Yes The number of shares should be quoted on your regular dividend counterfoil. Alternatively, you can contact the Company Registrar and they will confirm your current holding. Their details should be on your certificate or recent dividend counterfoil.
