Anyone got any ideas on how to make a little extra cash, easily? Struggling a bit just now, not needing much - approx £50pw would do.

Needs to be evenings and weekend and not too taxing as i'm already done-in when I get home.

Saving for a house deposit and the car I want is tough going.

Someone I knew made £400 selling buttons on ebay. Not collectables. Just standard plastic buttons.
Sells 50 grams a pop at 99p + £2 p+p.

Just a spare time thing but it's amazing what niches exist out there.

Everyone's copied him since.

When he told me he said "I guess you think I'm a bit sad." I said "You kidding? You're making £400 extra a month selling freaking buttons on ebay.."

Just wondering, how do you get the right postage on it? I guess you could buy a load of £1 stamps once you know the price of a given size/weight of parcel if he's sending out the same thing every day. scratchchin

Buttons don't weigh much at all. Standard envelope I believe.
I think he sells them in 50g and 100g batches.

Do surveys online, casual work as a steward at gigs/football matches etc, roulette, working on product launches or promos in shopping centres, driving - all things I've tried in the past smile

I do a lot of freelance graphic design work and occasionally take on commission for drawings and paintings.

Pretty easy way of making good money - especially designing logos, stationery and leaflets for a lot of new companies and normally charge £250-300 for identity work which is usually an hours work. Depend on quality of clients I sometimes charge more for ID work.

One from left field: mole catching.

Once you've got the traps it is pure profit. A friend charges £50 + (cash) depending on the size of the infestation.

However as you can probably imagine there's a 'knack' to catching them.

was on ebay earler and saw an auction for audi s-line badges - USED, 2 badges ie the stickers which go on the side of the car, the seller had wiped and put new tape on the back.

was £18 last time I looked- strike a deal with your scrappies to buy bulk/import from Germany and voila.
