I hold a small stakeholder which I pay money into on a monthly basis.

Now the company I hold it with claim the 25p per £1 invested back from the government.
As I higherrate tax payer I am now aware (it wasnt explained when I took it out) that I can claim more back.

Does anyone know how to do this - so far the company and HMRC websites are inconclusive in finding the form etc.
Can the company do this for me or is it a specific request to HMRC and can I back claim for the 4 years I have not got this extra rebate?

Take a a look at the other thread above. You will basically need to write to HMRC and advise on your pension contributions and they will then confirm any additonal relief due if you are a higher rate taxpayer. They may ask you to complete self assessment returns but in any event, you should so this going forwards to claim relief year on year.

And yes you can go back and claim relief for the four previous years.
