Contents Insurance

I am looking at renewing my contents insurance. I'm currently with Egg (Axa) and they have been good, but the price is getting silly. It was £195 last year (due to claims) and has only gone down to £185 this year. This is for a 1 bed flat with a £50 excess.

Now, I've done the compare the meerkat sites and Endsleigh comes up at £109, with the same cover and values. Are they a good company to go with? Egg have always been prompt and no queried claims, so its been easy. Am I saving £65 to have a ball ache if I need to claim?

Any other recommendations?

Endsleigh specialise in that type of market, also in things like student accomadation, as such I'd imagine they have good links to underwriters etc so shouldn't be a worry because they're good value.
