I've been reading a lot about this today - http://uk.zopa.com

Love the idea behind it, and the fact that you can lend as little or as much as you like to an individual or group of individuals as a consortium of people, but using the presence of Zopa to credit check applicants first and deal with the administration.

I have a fair chunk of spare cash each month which I'm saving, I tend to prefer a no risk environment for my savings but am prepared to put some money into small/medium risk and happy to tuck it away for medium term.

I'd really like to hear from anyone who lends on Zopa be it small amounts or much larger amounts.

Thing you have to remember, it takes a long time to get all of your money out if you need it smile Although they are supposed to be working on the trading of loans.

Thats fine, its money I can afford to tie up for a few years / make a loss on if I get bad debts.

I'm not talking thousands, maybe £20 to £50 a month to start with.
