Apologies if this has be done to death but search is not working for me at the moment.

Anyway, going through the process of divorcing (she has petitioned me, I have acknowledged, so awaiting decree nisi) and have a quick question.

Good news is this amicable and I am doing all the leg/paper work for both of us to keep costs down.

Financial circumstances:
We agreed a home valuation and she has bought me out. I have now bought my own property nearby.
We have settled any other cash transfers for car etc and split up all belongings fairly.
We have agreed what I pay her for our daughter going forward.
There is no pension issues, ie I keep mine and she keeps hers.

Apart from the pension issue, all this is documented in a dual signed agreement (we did this for comfort and so that she could escape stamp duty when buying me out of home).

So the question is - do we need to apply for "Ancillary relief" or can we just submit the existing document as evidence of our financial agreement, and say there is no pension-sharing issues?

thanks

Why not ask your solicitor? You are using a solicitor, presumably, so they'll be able to tell you definitively what you need to do in your case, no?

nope, we are doing it ourselves and saving a fair sum and a lot of solicitor-generated arguments, figured it out now
