old European currenct ?
Discussion
My father helps out in a local charity shop and today they were given a load of Pesetas in note form. I know that the Euro came into use in Jan 2002, and the Pts are no longer legal tender, but is there any way that they can be exchanged for cash ? (sometimes there is a cut-off date for exchanging old currency)
I think he said at the last exchange rate he found for Sterling to Pts, they have well in excess of £100 worth.
