Quick tax return

I've just filed my tax return online, and I'm a little confused about paying it. Do I have to pay it by the 31st Jan or is that just the deadline to submit it?

Also, if I want HMRC to tax it from my PAYE code, how do I do that?

ETA: The title should have the word question at the end of it!

Needs to be paid by 31st Jan and if you have only just filed it you can't have it taken from your tax code. The deadline for that is 31st December.
