Just watching one of the many SKY channels and in the advert break there was an advert for 'cash until pay day' or something similar.

They loan you cash until pay day funnily enough and stress that it's not suitable for a long term financial solution.....no kidding as the text says 2360% APR Typical eek

The sad thing is that the needy amongst us sign up for this crap as they are keen to promote that they don't credit check you. Is this type of thing really allowed by the FSA?

Oh dear Paul, your going to get battered for this I'm afraid (I know you will enjoy it)

Its a short term high risk loan, its not intended to taken for a year, but they must quote the APR. If I were lending small amounts of money for a matter of day, taking into account the risk, admin etc, You would prob want £20 back for a £100 loan.

I've not had a loan for years, well not until the cash until pay day advert came on biggrin

Charlie, I am actually a little sad now as I always assumed you had a pile of cash under the mattress as would be becoming of your 'old money' style wink
