Hi all, sorry to post a rant on Christmas day, however I have just received a T-Mobile bill for £87.73

I signed upto a T-Mobile Combi 15 (Unlimited UK texts, 100minutes, Free Blackberry Email service & Free internet ) - My paper copy of my contract states this.

After having checked my bills online shortly after purchase/setup I notice that T-Mobile have me down as being on the 'Combi 18' contract, which is a different tariff & Contract. Having rang T-mobile customer service several times, they require me to fax them a copy of my contract. Having faxed my contract several times to several different people, no action was ever taken and the issue not resolved.

I decided to go back to the store (Carphone Warehouse) from which I signed the contract. They also faxed my contract to the T-Mobile Billing Team, however the isssue, once again was not resolved.

I have been billed over the odds of my contract twice by t-mobile as at this stage, as far as they are concerned I am on the Combi 18 contract. I return to Carphone Warehouse again and they phone up and tell the T-mobile operator that they have my contract wrong & to make the amends immediately. I also requested a rebate of the surcharge over my original contract - I have not received.

I use the phone for another month, and I am happy that my contract is correct. However this months bill is not the case;

Looking at my online bill I have been charged 10p for every text that I have sent. I did not exceed my allocated minutes by approx 15mins. Therefore, a total bill of £87.73 has been racked up all text messages.

How can I have been charged for a service that as far as my paper contract is concerned is free?

This is quoted from my online Price Plan:

My price plan
Combi 15 (24 months) Monthly Cost exc VAT £12.77

Your plan includes:

100 minutes;
Local and national calls to any UK mobile network at any time.

texts;
Any UK mobile network, at any time.

BlackBerry email Booster (24mth)
Monthly £4.25

Contract ends 22/10/2011

Total Monthly cost exc VAT £17.02

December Bill:

409 texts outside of allowance £41.72
Mobile data
2 MB 766 kB 368 B outside of allowance £17.55 (Web n' Walk should be there)
Total charges outside of allowance £59.27
This all adds up to: £76.29

Where do I stand guys and what action should I take? I fear that if T-mobile take the £87.73 I will never see that money again (receive a rebate). They are due to take DirectDebit approx the 8/1/10.

ETA: I just looked at the online itemisation and I have also been charged £17 for data used over my allowance.

Thanks,
Tom
