Looking for a current account and savings accounts
Requirements:
- Less than 9 months to transfer from a current account to an ISA
- If they offer me a credit card they must be able to deal with handling it themselves - e.g. change of address
- A head office capable of dealing with enquiries that doesn't just defer to the local branch
- Staff who don't casually lie on a consistent basis
Reasonable interest rates and a polite manner would be beneficial, but lower priority than the above items.
Thanks

I take it you're leaving Lloyds TSB then?
To be honest I think HSBC are very good. The customer service and call centres are knowledgeble and you talk to someone in Britain.
They have no problem sending my statements to an Italian address or me using my debit/credit cards worldwide (as long as I tell them)

One to avoid is Intelligent Finance.
My Mrs insists on using them for our joint account and for somebody not that organised like me they are a complete nightmare.
I recently forgot the PIN for my debit card, and from the 1st call to getting one issued took about about a month due to their over the top security measures.
