Paying insurance on a credit card?

It's time for me to insure my car again (Gulp!)

Quotes are coming in for the £1000 and with Xmas looming I have no chance of paying it off with cash.

Would the best way to pay it be getting a 0% credit card and paying it off over the year? I have the money to do this.

Try Egg. They usually do a 0% finance on sales of their own insurance product if you use your egg card and you get a 10% discount.
