Bloody HRMC website!!!

I've tried now 4 times to fill in my Self Assessment form online and everytime I've tried, the service has been down. It's currently saying that the service will be back up by 6am this morning!!

It was shut from Friday 6.00 pm to Monday 6.00 am for maintenance.. A number of returns I submitted over the week-emnd were processed today. I don't use the HMRC site for entering the tax returns though. I use a commercial software which can hold the submitted return in a "pending" file until HMRC start feeding their (insert rodent of choice) again.

This is what it's saying, which tallys up with what you've said. Still annoying though

And it's still down.

So I called them up and was told that "Yes, that seems to be happening for some people, just keep on trying"
