Just wandering has anyone managed to come up with successful ways of making a bit of extra ways of money whilst at uni.

Cheap little business ideas, services etc...

I'm not talking anything big that you could live on but just a little extra to make life that bit easier.

Computer tuition for silver surfers?

Repair computers etc, should provide a modest amount of income depending on how you market it and how much effort you put in.

Territorial Army worked wonders for me. One evening a week, couple of weekends a month, and a two week holiday, all paid at Regular rates. Add a couple of grand bounty a year and jobs a good 'un.

Might not work with the current idiotic cuts, and you might get unexpected sandy holidays these days, but well worth looking into. Note that its not the same as the OTC.

That works - students have a propensity to breaking windows installs.

45 minute unattended windows installs - get paid for pressing enter once of twice and ignoring the computer for a while.

Learn to trade on the stockmarket. You might have graduated and found a job before you actually make your money back, though. hehe

I think the best way is to probably get a part time job like everyone else... If there was a tried and tested way of making easy money at uni everybody would be doing it.

Having said that I did know someone who bought and sold cars whilst at uni and made a hell of a lot of money.

Failing that sell drugs, always a winner.

Got a part time job, trouble is though I'm finding it difficult to find time to get all my coursework done now!

banksy paints on canvas too and releases limited edition screenprints,

If you steal a street item you wont ever get provenance for it and it is worthless.

How on earth did you stumble across that as a way of making money??

Quite obscure, must be quite nice though.

P.S The Tesco one is brilliant.

you never stumble accross a way of making money. you see a market oppotunity and you take advantage. i had two things on my hands, lots of time which i could afford to spend sleeping on the streets in q's waiting for print releases, and a bit of start up cash.
i could buy something and sell it the next day for 400% mark up. those were the boom days, its down to 50% - 200% mark up now.

i have unfortunately got addicted and now i have a house full of art and no money.

Sorry, I meant forex trading. Why did you stop? (I see it's a past tense you use.)
