Making a bit on the side whilst at uni
Discussion
Territorial Army worked wonders for me. One evening a week, couple of weekends a month, and a two week holiday, all paid at Regular rates. Add a couple of grand bounty a year and jobs a good 'un.
Might not work with the current idiotic cuts, and you might get unexpected sandy holidays these days, but well worth looking into. Note that its not the same as the OTC.

Computer tuition for silver surfers?
Repair computers etc, should provide a modest amount of income depending on how you market it and how much effort you put in.
That works - students have a propensity to breaking windows installs.Repair computers etc, should provide a modest amount of income depending on how you market it and how much effort you put in.
45 minute unattended windows installs - get paid for pressing enter once of twice and ignoring the computer for a while.
I think the best way is to probably get a part time job like everyone else... If there was a tried and tested way of making easy money at uni everybody would be doing it.
Having said that I did know someone who bought and sold cars whilst at uni and made a hell of a lot of money.
Failing that sell drugs, always a winner.

you never stumble accross a way of making money. you see a market oppotunity and you take advantage. i had two things on my hands, lots of time which i could afford to spend sleeping on the streets in q's waiting for print releases, and a bit of start up cash. Quite obscure, must be quite nice though.

i could buy something and sell it the next day for 400% mark up. those were the boom days, its down to 50% - 200% mark up now.
i have unfortunately got addicted and now i have a house full of art and no money.

should be done in a few months then can start my own mini fund, myself, friends and family stumping up the cash
have moved into normal shares now and spread betting.
getting pretty excited about a few shares at the moment. if everything comes good should be ready to buy a nice car come march 2010. (not too nice though im 22 insurance is hell)
